Returns for Unused Items (Change of Mind)
We accept returns for unused, unmodified, and original-condition items within 14 days of the delivery date.
Because lithium batteries are classified as Dangerous Goods for shipping, please read our return conditions carefully:
Return Location: All returns must be shipped directly back to our manufacturing facility in China.
Return Shipping Costs: The customer is 100% responsible for all return shipping costs. Due to international courier restrictions on lithium batteries, this shipping can be expensive. We highly recommend using a tracked courier service, as we are not responsible for returns lost in transit.
Proof of Non-Use: Before a return is authorized, you must email us with clear photographic proof that the battery is unused. This includes photos of unblemished packaging, pristine battery leads/connectors showing no solder or wear, and a voltage checker screen showing factory storage voltage.
Once your return is received and inspected at our facility, we will issue a refund for the product cost to your original payment method. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
Faulty or Dead on Arrival (DOA) Items
If your battery arrives faulty, damaged, or with a dead cell, do not attempt to ship it back until you have contacted us, as shipping damaged lithium batteries is a severe safety hazard.
Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
You will be required to provide video evidence of the fault (e.g., a multimeter or smart charger screen showing the cell voltage discrepancy).
Upon verification, we will issue a replacement or a full refund, and provide instructions on how to safely dispose of the faulty battery locally.

2. Direct Fulfilment & Customs
Kinetic Density products are shipped directly from our manufacturing partners in China to your provided delivery address.
Importer of Record: The customer is the legally designated importer of record for all shipments and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country.
DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid): If you select a DDU shipping option, you are strictly responsible for paying all applicable import duties, local taxes, VAT, and customs clearance fees upon the package's arrival in your country. Failure to pay these fees may result in the package being destroyed by customs; Kinetic Density will not issue refunds for abandoned packages.
DDP (Delivered Duty Paid): If you select a DDP shipping option, we collect estimated import duties and taxes at checkout and remit them to the courier on your behalf to expedite clearance. You remain the importer of record.
3. Product Safety & Limitation of Liability
Kinetic Density supplies high-performance lithium batteries intended for professional and hobbyist use (e.g., FPV drones).
Lithium batteries are volatile and can cause fires, property damage, or injury if mishandled, overcharged, discharged below safe limits, or physically damaged.
User Responsibility: You agree that it is your responsibility to charge batteries using a compatible smart charger, to never leave charging batteries unattended, and to store them in fireproof containers.
Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, KD Drones Ltd (trading as Kinetic Density) shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to property damage, drone loss, or injury resulting from the use, misuse, or charging of our batteries.
